Meet the Professional Roofers from Peterborough’s I C I Roofing Limited
As professional roofers in the Peterborough, Oshawa and Belleville areas, I C I Roofing Limited has the ability and experience to complete projects both large and small. We have approximately 18 people working in the field and four office staff to meet all of the needs of our clients. We have our own in-house sheet metal shop, seven roofing crew vehicles, seven asphalt kettles, equipment to install cold-applied built-up roofing, equipment to install torch-on modified bitumen roofing and the equipment to install all types of single-ply roofing. We also carry a very large inventory of all roof membrane types. With the ability to provide Labour and Material and Performance Bonds for projects in the $1 million range, we are recognized by most major roofing manufacturers to provide long-term labour, material and workmanship warranties.
All of our staff has experience working at facilities that include hospitals, schools, colleges and universities, office buildings, churches and senior homes. Steve Carr Sr., Company Founder
Steve Carr Sr., company founder and now retired, is President of I C I Roofing Limited. His knowledge and expertise are the foundation of this company.
Stephan A. Carr, President and General Manager
Stephan A. Carr, President and General Manager, joined his father’s business in 1992, working on the roofing crews for eight years, gaining the hands-on experience to be able to properly manage and run I C I Roofing Limited in the capacity of Vice President and General Manager. Steve has extensive training in all aspects of roofing, and to date, has 22 years of experience in the industry. His management style is to oversee all aspects of the organization, keeping a keen eye on clear and accurate estimates, coordinating the execution of the work, ensuring quality is kept to the highest industry standards and working directly with clientele to ensure they’re completely satisfied. Typically, Stephan is the person who meets with the client to review their roofing needs and discuss the options for maintenance and replacement. After the client’s needs are identified, Stephen inspects the roof(s) and provides the information required.
William Thomas, Field Supervisor
William Thomas, Field Supervisor, has been with the company since inception, and to date, brings 41 years of roofing experience. His experience comes from working on the crews to his current position as Superintendent at I C I Roofing Limited. Bill has extensive experience and training in all aspects of roofing, as well as supervisory and health and safety training. Bill has worked as a Foreman and/or Supervisor on all of our roofing projects, planning, executing and finalizing all projects in a safe and expeditious manner. Bill takes great pride in completing the “tough” projects – the more complicated, the better. Bill also has a vast amount of experience finding roof leaks and deficiencies that cause them.
Regan Walsh, Crew Foreman
Regan Walsh, Crew Foreman, started at our firm in 2002 as Roofing Foreman. He has over 31 years of experience in the roofing industry, taking on the role of a foreman early in his career. Regan and his crew continually work in unison to complete our projects in a safe and professional manner. Regan has successfully completed some of our largest roofing projects to date and continues to complete projects in an expeditious manner.
Lawrence Haddlesly, Crew Foreman
Lawrence Haddlesly, Crew Foreman, was hired in 2005. His roofing experience and knowledge spans 22 years; he started on roofing crews in his early years and then working his way up to crew foreman. Lawrence has been one of our foremen for four years and has continued to bring an excellent level of professionalism to the work place. Lawrence continues to provide our customers with the peace of mind that the work is being completed the “right way” the first time. And when adverse conditions arise, he always finds a way to persevere. Lawrence is one of our main service and repair personnel.
